Finally Caught Me

After 2 years of avoiding the bastard, Covid 19 finally caught me on Sunday. Low grade fever, headache, achy skin, and the worst sore throat I’ve ever had. Every time I swallow I feel like I’m being stabbed by knives. If not for the sore throat it wouldn’t be that bad.

Hang in there man! Mine was like a bad head cold with drainage to the back of my throat that felt acidic. Still have a funky taste in my mouth.

that's about the version i got a few months back! haven't missed a whole week of work in my life till that crap!

Had covid a year and a half ago. Lost all taste and smell until last month when over a period of a week both came back completely.

The gack it makes is like industrial adhesive, I did good until I choked and aspirated some, I had a profound near death experience, be careful. 12 days in St Johns in Tulsa, but the post covid arthritis, hand tremors and congestion still going on after 9 months.
Taste and smell are fubar still, some stuff like a sour apple jolly rancher candy was wretching nasty tasting to me.
Changed my left eye vision 2 diopters and made a cataract worse, I have to get a tube in my left ear next week and leg pain very annoying neuropathy kind of stuff.

Since hospital stay back in Oct., I still dont feel as good as I did befor the chicom virus. My taste and smell havent completely returned, I am more fatigued and dont have the energy I had before the virus. IDK, mebbe pushing 79 has something to do with it. :>(

It definitely cause long term fatigue. The wife gave it to everyone in her family and my 3 weeks ago, first time I think I've had it but I was only sick to two days. My wife was sick for two weeks.
