I know this is about the Q but the sides at OK Joe's in BA are worth mentioning. Their baked beans are my fave, good real cut fries, and weirdly their okra is whole not in pieces like I'm used to, something I have never seen anywhere else but is really good.

Spencer's BBQ on NE 23rd and Post Road is some of the best I've had, I've been to various places and always come back to Spencer's. Other places you'll get a mouthful of fat on occasion and I detest that. The only thing wrong with Spencer's is that their slogan is "You can't beat our meat." While that's true, it's sort of off-color so some-but they do a booming business. They ship worldwide also.
I couldnt disagree more. Spencers is one of the few businesses I have swore off. Tried a few times before spriggs closed and once after...Every single time we go there its a surprise at how expensive it is for nothing special bbq. Their fritters are good but everything else is sub par imo.
Something I just remembered was a place that hasnt been open long up near wellston. The guy has won a ton of competitions and the food reflects it. Had it deer season this past year and it was incredible. Makes his own sausage and the Ribs were perfect.
They both are out of sight. Trails end I just want a sandwich never had a bad one.
When visiting my Dad at the Norman Veterans' Center, I usually stop by Van's. Two reasons:
1. He's an OSA member

My favorite is the Salt Lick in Driftwood, TX. It's a cool BYOB joint in a dry county in the hills Southwest of Austin with open indoor pits.
