2 days and a wake up. FIGMO!
Went out to the shroom woods this afternoon where i usually find a couple dozen, found a Grand total of...............................2.
They were fresh and hadn't been up long. Appears some hogs have moved in since last year, signs of rooting everywhere. I imagine the hogs are sucking up everything that's edible.
Pic is out of focus, but it atleast shows the color compared to the surroundings..
Found what I think is dried up Lion's Mane on a Cedar, wish I could find one of these fresh and ready to pick..

I've seen that on cedars before. Didn't realize it was edible.
And you are still waiting. Better get on that before the wife eats them all. LOL
Nah, she ain't gonna touch 'em. She don't like the fungee... I'm the only person in my house even curious about 'em. Working nights, driving 3h for a 12h shift, I don't feel much like cooking when I get home in the morning. Maybe Friday morning. I won't have to get back up for work in the afternoon, so I can stay up an extra hour or so.
