So given the definition of body armor in this bill, just about ANY round that come from a rifle?
The law targeted handgun ammunition. The federal law addressed armor piercing handgun bullets and OK was one of a few states that took the federal law and added Teflon coating; OK legislators fell for the hype.
I think the federal law only applies to handgun ammunition which is why many don’t want pistols developed with the some rifle calibers. It would invoke the federal law and eliminate some of the cheap ammunition from overseas.
