Badger good news and bad news; your spring came in today, but after installing it... I discovered that your recoil springs are shot. 
It doesn't quite have enough ump to go all the way into battery. From reading online, it's a common problem. Apparently springs and the firing pin are the two weak links of the Type 14. Anyway, I've already placed the order from Wolf Springs. It said it's priority mail, so they should be here between 3-5 days I figure.

I spoke to John today, and sorry man, you're SOL for your tritium.
He said they warrantee it for 7 years, and he can stretch it to 10, but not 17. Sorry.
figured that... do they have inserts or do i have to replace the whole sight?
