No hope unless they actually try to enforce it... and how do they know you have a gun in your car?

Or on your person, unless have metal detectors and searches, that is. I don't know if they do.

But as for the car, that part is just a scare tactic, they can't and won't do anything about it.

Walked thru Philbrook museum last spring with my girlfriend and my G19 at three o’clock OWB kydex holster under a light jacket. Had a nice visit, enjoyed it, no problems, no magnetometer in use. Not like trying enter the duct tape center.

They can ban "carry" in their parking lots. They cannot ban "transport and storage" of a firearm in a vehicle in their parking lot.
So, if they are referring to not allowing people to walk around with a gun in the parking lot, they are correct.
If however, their statement is trying to ban all firearms from being in their parking lot, they are pissing up a rope.
