Just returned from Arizona and had a very unsettling experience - we stopped at a McDonalds and they had sign saying they were out of straws. Took me a second to figure out if I was in the Matrix or not....fortunately not; they really were just temporarily out of straws

Probably taken by a neck bearded straw hoarder that is going to sell them on the black market when they get banned.

Hay! I wonder if the Oklahoma Wheat Commission is taking a position on this important issue.

"Ditch the plastic straw and say HAY! to our biodegradable straws. The perfect solution for entertaining a crowd or simply enjoying your favorite drink at home.

- Made from natural wheat stems

- 100% biodegradable

- Plastic-free packaging

- Gluten-free

- 100 straws (enough for all your party animal friends)"

Looks like the cost is about 8 cents each....well worth it to help save the planet....but buyer beware of non-organically grown straws.
Beat me to it!
