First gun I bought was in 1988 at a gun shop in Oak Harbor, Wa. I used my first reenlistment bonus to buy a Ruger GP100 6" Stainless. Still got it. This one is mine, there are may like but this one is mine! :-)
I think the first gun I got was a Daisy Monte Carlo from the BX 4 Seasons? Savage 24 from Kordmier's Furniture, Model 60 from Gibson's. We (family) got guns fromGibson's, TGY, Sears, Penny's, Western Auto, OTASCo, Ward's, sporting goods, furniture and hardware stores. I think the Old Man bought some mail order in the early '60s.

I was thirteen and mowed yards all summer. My first rifle was a New England 30-30 single shot for $150ish from a shop in Antlers, OK. Took it deer hunting three weeks later!!!

Western Auto when I was in grade school. Paid for it with my paper route money. Still remember how my father made me buy it on credit so I would learn about making payments. I would ride my bike up there once a week to make a fifteen dollar payment till I got the whole sixty dollars paid off.

Can't remember the name of the place, but it was an old hardware store. Bought my first shotgun there. Little .410 that I cant remember the manufacturer.
had been given a couple long guns, but my first purchase was a ruger p90 at wannamachers when i was 21.
