One Dem responded with "the thought that I could walk in and kill any of my students is disturbing". If that's the first thing a teacher is thinking of, do they need to be in the classroom at all? What's to keep any teacher from walking in with a gun and shooting their students right now before this bill? Nothing. Typical dem talk before thinking comment.
This is exactly how they approach constitutional carry. Yet, none of them grasp how wrong they are about it.

Airliner hijacking occurred on a regular bases all over the world, for 30/40 years, right? Then 9/11/01 happened, and there has not been even ONE attempted takeover type hijacking sense, WHY IS THAT? Could it be that potential hijackers KNOW, without doubt, NO PASSENGERS WILL EVER AGAIN SIT BY AND BE FLOWN INTO A BUILDING, NO MATTER HOW THE HIJACKER IS ARMED? RIGHT? IF SENSELESS MASS SHOOTING, INCLUDING SCHOOL SHOOTINGS, DONE BY SPOILED BRATS, SEEKING ATTENTIUON, EVER STOP, WE WILL HAVE TO CONVINCE THESE PUNKS, WE WON'T TOLERATE THAT ANY-LONGER, RIGHT? If we could get Democratc Politicians, to quit using these tragities to try and take our guns, long enough, and have THEIR LAP DOG NEWS MEDIA, treat these MURDERS, as bad as they treat Trump supporters, that would help by not giving them what they want, SYMPATHY, AND ATTENTION!!

It's illegal to own or bring dynamite to a school just like it's illegal to bring an unauthorized gun into a school so? lol.

How many of those school shootings were done by rogue teachers?
Quite a few, actually. All it proves is that humans are no **** good. With maybe a few exceptions. In 1927, it was not illegal to have guns or dynamite in most places in the USA. Including schools. In my own experience, as late as 1972, guns and knives were allowed at the high school I attended in western Colorado. And not at the California high school I graduated from the following year.

I’m a metro high school teacher. I could carry in here if I wanted and no one would know.
Once I figured out the dynamics of this environment, I would rather not. I believe It’s safer.

How about we go back to allowing a teacher to march a disruptive student down to the principles office for a little attitude adjustment session with a wooden paddle first. It used to be effective in the olden days and no one still has red whelps but might have a better attitude about respecting others.

We still were allowed to have them in locked vehicles in the 80's in Oklahoma. Not sure if every district was like that or not though.
