He is not only one. GOP is falling from the waist side, they claiming to have conservative views, but in reality they are just pandering for conservative vote. I think a lots of them are running scare of BLM and the Democrats/socialist base. In reality they don’t want loose the status quo. Don't forget to vote. Not everyone to claim to be a conservative is a conservative.

Exactly. They are on track to lose the Senate majority with their continued weakness. If Trump should lose too it will be a disaster for conservatives.

I don't think there is a harm, per se, but I don't think any statue or monument is beyond discussion. With respect to some that are coming down now of specific people, i don't think many of the people they honor are deserving. With respect to monuments around the south, i think there are better places to be found for them and that the statues aren't always truly with respect to the history they are supposed to honor.

There are lots of articles out there about when and why they were erected, if you're interested.

But as i said, removing them doesn't erase anything

I did tell him I was ashamed of the stick your head in the sand Republicans and if there was a conservative political party I would join it and quit the GOP. I really wanted to say, "so fast it would create a Tsunami in Guam which might then finally tip over," but didn't.

I’ve never gotten Presidents’ Day off of work. Before I started working full time, they traded it for MLK day and a draft pick to be named later.
