Prescription thc is available and I don't know why it isn't discussed more often. A Google search reveals at least 4 thc prescription drugs.That is the problem. You can't tax the ones who aren't the issue along with the ones that are. Better to just charge the people who consume the hospital services in the first place than to try to tax it. Even then, how would you possibly get those tax dollars where they should go.
They should have made MJ like any other medication and issued prescriptions for it for medicinal use like any other medication.
I've always held the belief that individuals can make decisions about what they do with their lives, as long as they don't harm others. However, as an educator and school administrator I have now seen what the legalization of MJ is doing to our kids and it isn't good. Getting high is becoming normalized and I do not see any upside to that. We, our society, will pay a price that I'm now convinced is detrimental. I don't have the answer, but I know that going forward I will not support legal recreational use.
