A nation full of christians would never advocate mass murder or mutilation. Just ask the Jews.

How about we roll back time just a few decades and look at the christian led KKK?

Blacks, and Jews aren't enough? How about the gays?

Not apples to apples but christianity has a history of brutal violence just like islam. It's just more convenient now that they can cherry pick which gospel they want to follow. If everyone followed the Old Testament, then we'd be shoulder to shoulder with some of the extreme muslims.

Islamic terrorism is a more immediate and obvious threat to all of us, but if you're a particular demographic it's all the same.

In the end, the marines just need a way to protect themselves from whatever may come their way.

Yep, except we aren't. We aren't living in the past either. Today is today and where we're at is an ideological conflict with Islamic extremism. Every time someone mentions a past we have at least for now moved on from, rather than say "We were once violent too!", shouldn't we be saying "We've rejected religious based violence, therefore we're ahead of you and you should strive to be more like us."???

Tell me what's wrong with that message? :anyone:

The youtube videos and violence posted are in the present. Sure by far and large we are follow a PC version of christianity here in the U.S., but history repeats itself when it comes to the major religions.

If you can't identify present day death and hate in the name of christianity, you're a textbook demonstration of confirmation bias. The problem is religious extremism, and christianity isn't immune to it.

Because it's complete BS IMHO. Basically it says for the most part our crazies are typically better than your crazies, aside from bashing in the head of a few homosexuals here or there. But it's ok, most of us are fine with them until they marry. But hey, we've been mostly murder free for decades now and most of the catholic priests are keeping their hands to themselves now. Now corruption? That's a different story, still working on that. While MUCH more subtle than what we are speaking of here, christianity breeds a ton of judgement and hate. It's still there nonethelss.

If OSA members can't even bring themselves to admit that we don't tolerate Christian terrorism within our ranks, and acknowledge that Islamic terrorism is a FAR more prevalent and serious threat right now, today, then America will be fighting the GWOT for a LONG time to come.

If you're going to accuse me of confirmation bias, you might want to look in the mirror while you're pointing those fingers. :(

Feel free to tell me when Christian terrorists have racked up as many kills at Islamic terrorists have over the past 14 years. Feel free to tell me when we've expended as much military ordinance, money and U.S. service member lives on Christian terrorists as we have in the past 14 years on Islamic terrorists.

Until you can do that, your intransigence in this topic is complete crap!
