Within the last couple of weeks I finally tried Texas Roadhouse's chicken fried steak (sirloin, on their menu) and it was surprisingly delicious. It's huge and very tasty, but has a lot of batter on it.

Generally speaking, I still vote for Iron Skillet. For $8 you can get a decent size CFS, 2 eggs, toast, and potatoes.

I've gotta go with Chuck house until someone proves to me otherwise.
I used to love Del Rancho, but they've gone WAY downhill. The cuts of meat are smaller and of a lesser quality. Their breading is still the bomb.
Shorty's sucks.
Ann's was ok, but didn't trip my trigger like Chuck House does.
Haven't had Jim's.
If I'm ever over that way, I might try the truck stop CFS.

Kendall's in Noble was awesome, when I ate there 15+ years ago. :D

The steak was bigger than the plate. I don't know if they are still that way today.

I'll ditto the negative on Shorty Small's. Horrible, not just the chicken fry.

I have yet to find a place that makes em the way I like em.

Cube steak, thick cut, thin breading, *requiring* a real steak knife.

I dislike chopped beef chicken fried steaks. Del Rancho was ok.
