I don't mind ketchup on fries, but it's not a condiment I keep in the house unless I'm planning on burgers and dogs. Will have to try the mustard. I like mayo on my fries.

Started using mustard as a kid when the school cafeteria always ran out of ketchup but the mustard bottles were full. I enjoyed having something to dip my fries in when the other kids were out of luck.

It's pretty European and Midwestern. You have to have a good quality mayo like Duke's or Helmans. Frito's are also real good with mayo or banana pepper vinegar.
