I have the home Bunn coffee maker and it works good.
I was hoping to see this thing repurposed Swampratt style. I am now disappointed.

I still have 3 engines I need to build and many cylinder heads I need to port.
Not to mention my little crack house on 13th and may I need to finish up.

That "guy in your church" was a hypocrite. (Of course, ALL of us churchgoers are hypocrites.)
We have two. We bought the first one used from a coffee machine repair guy about 20 years ago. It still works great. We bought a second one new about 6 years ago when they were on sale at Sams 'just because' but it had that newer plastic grate and funky plastic trap door where you pour the water in. I swapped the top with the older unit because the round hole is easier to pour the water in.
The last three kitchens we remodeled or built were built around the coffee maker.

It used to be quite busy but the old tenants got evicted and the owner sold me his problem.
Seems everyone with a crapped out car without hubcaps slows down and looks at it.
Thinking HHHMMM I used to buy my crack there.
The house no longer looks shi++y from the front so they keep on driving.
Lots of bicyclists in that area also and they never have the same bike more than a week.
