I started when I was about 12-13 years old, on a GT80 Yamaha. Started road racing on a 91 CBR600 in 1995. I was 24, got a late start but it was still fun. Had a few sportbikes, CBR900rr, 998 Superhawk, Interceptor, & a few others. Went to dirtbikes, a 1993 KTM EXC300, DR350, WR400, CR480, CR500, TT500, & a few others. Here are my last 2 that I ride/rode. Still have the R1 but the Duck is long gone.

Currently riding a 2007 Suzuki GS500F. Work in progress is a '73 Triumph Bonneville 750 that I really plan on finishing by the end of this year since it's been a 10+ year work in progress...

I am currently without a bike and really not sure if I will get another, I really like to ride I just hate all the idiots on the road.

Same here. Sold my 1100 Vstar not long after a friend who was a very cautious rider lost his leg from the knee down when a woman turned left right into him in Wagoner. Got me thinking how tough it would be to work without one of my limbs, or a pulse.
I've been thinking about a dual purpose bike lately though like a big XR or something to do some dirt road riding.

At 40 years old, I started riding this year. I had wanted a motorcycle since I was a kid and just never got around to getting one for various reasons until now. I had never ridden until I took the MSF course this Feb.

I currently have a Yamaha Virago 250 that I bought to learn on. It is great around town and the back roads but not so much on the highway. I will probably get a bigger bike (HD Sportster or Dyna) either this summer or next year, depending on how much I like riding - so far it has been awesome.

My 15 year old son took the course with me and has his motorcycle license now so he can ride to school and back. He has a Kawasaki Ninja 250.
