We sold our bikes, just didn't ride much toward the end of having them. We had sportbikes, mine an 04 Yamaha R1, I rode those bikes for 20 years for the style and because I could do a hundred in first gear on my R1 and when I go to a place like Six Flags, I don't go to ride the merry-go-round. I didn't alway have to go fast, it was just the excitement of the rapid acceleration and it's cornering abilities and you didn't have to do triple digits to do those.

I've got two at the opposite ends of the spectrum. 1997 Harley Heritage Softail that I bought in 1999, and a 2005 Honda CBR 1000rr that I've had since 2007. I've also had a hardtail custom and a CBR 954rr.

Different bikes for different purposes. The Harley is slow, comfy and alright. The Honda is fast, uncomfy and alright. I ride my Honda much more than my Harley, probably because I ride a lot to get my mind off things, and when riding aggressively on curves its a great zen-like focus that blocks out all the stress and BS I'm dealing with at the moment.

I'm the definition of a fair weather rider (really has to be perfect). That means the bike gets out of the garage only a few times a season. It's a toy.
2003 Honda VTX 1800C (bought new in 2004). Lots of chrome extras (never done buyin stuff for it).

2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Classic. I chose this bike because the ride is exceptional and it looks Awesome! It was also 1/3 the cost of a new Harley.
