We got our limit of mallards this morning, plus a couple gadwall and couple geese.

Finally got into the watershed this morning. The birds were working pretty well considering they had 60 acres of flooded timber to drop into. It was a hoot. Couldn't use my boat as there's no place to drop in the trailer when it's muddy. Borrowed a silver 14' with oars and put camo burlap over it. If we'd shot better, we'd have limited easily. Only bonus ducks we saw were 2 gadwall. Had one land danger close after folding up..

Saturday we had great action. Lots of birds that worked really well. 5 of us limited despite some lousy shooting. Sunday was completely the opposite. No birds to be found. I think they shifted back north with the nicer weather. I think a majority of our birds are still in KS.

Same story for us, and yes from folks I talk to in KS they are there and in NE still.
