2007 Harley V-rod with the 240 mm rear tire.

1st Harley and really love it. I remembered the AMF Harley days and was concerned about the issues they had at one time so up until this purchase it has been Yamaha's, Suzuki's and Honda's. I saw the documentary/infomercial "The Making of the V-Rod" and fell in love. The bike is amazingly quick, comfortable to ride and has had no reliability issues. Plus, mine was made in the USA so I'm helping keep Americans working! No digs on the Japanese bike owners - for all I know they are made here now as well like Honda and Toyota vehicles.

I agree with the previous poster who stated it doesn't matter what you ride as long as you like it and it makes you happy. Here's a picture of mine.

Those Vulcan 2000's are torque monsters. But because of their weight they are not among the fastest (not that it really matters). Actually the fastest V-twin is probably the Harley V-Rod, followed by the M-109R. The V-Rods are 11 second bikes off the showroom floor and the M-109R's are low 12 second bikes. The Rocket III isn't a V-twin but a 3-cylinder so it doesn't really count. But they are beasts.

The V-rod is not an 11 second bike. well not a stock v-rod anyways

I have riden all kinds of bikes but the one I ride now is the funnest of them all.
2005 BMW R1200GS. This bad girl can slice up city streets, canyon carve, load up and tour, and when you get to where ever you going and want to take some double and some single track she will do that as well. Hell she even hung with some speed tribe guys on the Turnpike the other day but I backed off when the started splitting semi's at a buck 10.

Gentlemen let me introduce you to Clementine.

2006 Kawasaki KLR 650. Wanted something that was street legal, yet fun to hit the dirt/gravel back roads! Not very fun on the highway though....to light of a bike!

had 2000 zx9r kawasaki, 2002 suzuki hayabusa, 2006 suzuki hayabusa, havnt developed a complex yet to get a harley.

I was the same way, all I used to ride was sport bikes. The last one I had was a 2003 GSXR 1000. I was showing off to some buddies at 1AM I was riding a wheelie doing about 70MPH and a car ran a stop sign and clipped me, causing me to go down. I was not wearing any riding gear or a helmet. luckily I did not hit my head, but I had road rash all over my arms and legs and worst my ass. It totaled my bike. So since I was already working at the Harley shop, I went ahead and got my street glide. at least with that I dont do as much stupid stuff.
