I have had a few GSXRs, and an R1 too, I respect them, but don't need to go that fast anymore. The bikes I have, I enjoy that level of engineering, I like points, and pushrods, and carbs, and stuff I can fix, shimming the valve buckets on the GSXR well, nuff said. I like flat track bikes and thier look. I got the CB750s to build a cafe bike, it will never be as cafe as my tube frame Buell, probably while that project has halted. I have made laps at Hallet, lots of back roads grand prix, and some stop light ...well you know. I am more of a drag racer, but don't like fat tired bikes. I grew up with OLD Harleys, I know the difference between EL, UL, FL and all that. Probably why I like big blocks, four speeds, rear wheel drive, and in some applications solid lifter cams. Guess thats why I am a 1911 guy too?

Hit me up, we'll go for a ride.

2001 Bandit 1200S currently. I was looking to get rid of this, but a divorce has me keeping it for now. I have wanted to get something more tour oriented for some time, but this bike has just fit me so well that I have been reluctant to pull the trigger.

How can you not be working on a securing you 'dream' !!?!

I know...money...life...responsibility....I think thats why I dig motorcycles so much.

Also why I buy them wrecked or broken!

This is my dream bike.

Thats a nice choice, 2010 FLHXSE2, a screaming eagle street glide, I would love to have one, but I am not ready to pay $33K for a bike right now,

There is a new 2011 Kriptonite green SE street Glide that will be coming out next year, its a bad a$$ bike,

Oh, and Dustin you never answered when I asked you what you ride.

I don't like the 2011 SESGs. I don't like the lower fairing on the SGs at all. I do like the fuel gauge in the tank and the low profile console. I'll be swapping to the 2011 19" front wheel when it is tire time.

I ride my dream bike. ;)

Yeah the lowers on it, is something you would have to get used to, but I do like the fact that they put speakers in the lowers, and did you know that all the 2011 SE's come with an IPOD? on the 11 SESG it ahs a hook up in the right bag for the ipod. that part is pretty cool. I was wanting a SE street glide, but since I have a 08 street glide I am thinking about putting a screaming eagle 120ci in the one I have now.

yeah, I read up on them when they released the info back in the summer. I'd avoid the 110 on a future bike. I think the 96TC is a better engine, it just needs a little help on the big touring bikes. A 103ci big bore kit with SE255 cams is a good start.

I have owned Honda's, Suzuki's, Harley's, Kawasaki's and one Norton 850 Commando. My favorites of those are the Norton 850 and Suzuki X6 Hustler. The VTX1800c is a close favorite.

My favorites now are the one's I own. I currently have an '05 15th anniversary fatboy (black not silver) and an 08 anniversary Ultra Glide. If I was younger I'd have a Hyabusa. I would last about a day before they threw me in a pine box. That's why I stay away from the fast stuff.
